Day-by-Day Itinerary
Kigali City Tour & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Our representative will be waiting to welcome you at the airport and usher you to the dedicated car that will convey you to Musanze located near the Volcanoes National Park. On your journey you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the land of a thousand hills. There will also be a visit to the Genocide Memorial in Kigali.
Mountain Gorilla Trekking
The day commences with a drive to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for briefing before setting out for the gorilla trek. Pick-up time is 6:00 am and trekking begins at 8:00 am. One of the many highlights is an opportunity to watch the impressive, calm gorillas conduct themselves graciously and go about their daily activities — feeding, resting, and caring for their young. When the trekking session is concluded, the driver returns you to the lodge to freshen up before departing to Kigali in the afternoon.
Kigali City Tour & Departure
In the heart of Rwanda lies the notably orderly and clean city of Kigali — one of the most perfect ambiences for vacation and a home of hospitality for many tourists. Upon arriving in Kigali you are at liberty to explore some locations for shopping and sightseeing — Kimironko Market, Inema Arts Center, or the Caplaki craft village — before departing for the airport.
