Day by day
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
The driver picks you up from your Kigali hotel after breakfast and commences the journey to Bwindi National Park in Uganda. There is a stopover for lunch in Mbarara town. The journey continues through the scenery referred to as the "Switzerland of Africa". Overnight and dinner at Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After early morning breakfast, you proceed on a short meeting with the forest rangers to get the required guidelines for interacting with the gorillas. Your guide leads you into the forest on an adventure that may extend for up to 8 hours. The cultural walk is scheduled for the evening. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Return to Kigali
After breakfast you embark on your journey back to Kigali. There will be a stopover for lunch along the way and subsequently you will be conveyed to your hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight rest.
