Day-by-Day Itinerary
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at the airport or from your hotel, the driver takes you on a city tour: Genocide Memorial Centre, local markets, and other sites. Afterwards you are conveyed to Volcanoes National Park with views of the Virunga mountains. Overnight at Muhabura Hotel.
First Gorilla Trekking Adventure & Cultural Walk
Shortly after breakfast, receive a short update from park headquarters then proceed to the bamboo forest. You will have one hour to observe the gorillas, watch the animals, and take photographs. In the evening, option to go for a community walk in the neighbouring village.
Golden Monkey Tracking & Transfer to Bwindi NP
The tour guide leads you to the golden monkey tracking venue in Volcanoes NP. Afterwards embark on the cross-border journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda. Overnight at Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Second Gorilla Trekking & Transfer to Ishasha
Gather at park headquarters for briefing, then enter the forest to search for the gentle giants. One hour to observe and photograph. Return and transfer to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP. Dinner and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.
Queen Elizabeth National Park & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After breakfast the driver takes all tourists to Queen Elizabeth NP via Ishasha to see the famous tree-climbing lions. Afterwards embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel — birds, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Transfer to Kibale Forest NP & Chimpanzee Trekking
Welcome to Day 6. Shortly after breakfast embark on a journey to Kibale Forest NP. In the afternoon you are guided to the chimpanzee trekking activities. Dinner and overnight at Crater Safari Lodge.
Transfer to Kigali/Kampala & Departure
Day 7. After breakfast the driver takes you to the Entebbe Airport or back to Kigali for your departure flight.
